More Changes and Gratitude

So for the last three weeks I've working as an administrative assistant through a temp agency. It was originally described as a temp position with the possibility of becoming temp-to-hire. Well, I've been complimented in the last few weeks on how quickly I picked things up and I've made some friends. The first week was a little rough but I've gotten used to coming to work here.

Today I overheard my supervisor offering someone the position I've been filling. I still haven't been told that I'm not staying or how much longer they'll want me to come in. I'm guessing that they will want me to train the new person, which makes no sense considering I still don't really know what I'm doing.

It frustrates me that there is so little communication and that I still haven't been told anything about my time here. But I'm grateful for the time I've had here - I met some cool people and it has paid the bills for a while. And I've gotten some experience that might help me get a job that I really want. Everything happens for a reason, I guess. I can only hope and trust that things will work out while I keep trying to do my best.
