I attended my first NanoWrimo Write-in last night. People organize gatherings of fellow Nanoers so everyone can sit down and write together. I haven't made it to one yet because I was shy last year and things have gotten in the way of the previous ones so far this month.
It was fun to meet the people behind the names and comments of the forums, but we didn't get much writing done. I'm going to really have to get in gear to catch up on my word count. It was fun, don't get me wrong, but I wanted to get some good writing time in and I didn't do as much as I would have liked.
But on we go! Maybe knowing I'm supposed to be well past 10,000 today will give me the pressure I need to get something done.
