Can't Write?

I will give you a quote from Marcia Golub's I'd Rather Be Writing.
When you have those times when you just can't do it, stop doing it. Figure out what nourishes you and do that instead. Figure out what frightens you and fight back.
I really liked this because sometimes you can get burned out trying so hard to write. But you can't write if you don't have anything to draw on, so you have to get out and have some experiences. So, go live life this weekend and maybe you'll have something to write about when you're done.

It's always a challenge to balance writing and not-writing, and not to criticize yourself meanwhile.

Sometimes you need a vacation...
