Personal Masterpiece

I started a new project a couple of weeks ago and I am having so much fun with it. It's based on an idea I've had cooking for a long time but just never sat down to put on paper. Now that it's slowly being written out, I'm realizing that it has the potential to be really good. I figure every great story started as an idea - everything starts somewhere.

Are you sitting on an idea that could be a masterpiece? You owe it to yourself to take the time to develop your idea and bring it to life. Do it today - write something down. Whether it's a couple of sentences or a couple of pages, write that image, feeling, idea, or character. And then don't let it go - remember it and come back tomorrow to write a couple more details. Commit to yourself to create your masterpiece.

Here's a prompt if you need some help to get going:

Someone hands you a piece of paper at a coffee shop or other public place. What do you do?

Doesn't it feel good to get it out and see it on paper? Plan a time to come back and work on it some more and then do it.
